- BA 495A gives students the opportunity to complete an internship with for-profit or not-for-profit organization.
- BA 495B allows students to work with our full-time business faculty on an individual research project in a business-related topic.
Capstone Experience: BA 422W (3) and BA 495A (3 or 6) or BA 495B (3 or 6). Those students selecting BA 495A or BA 495B for three credits must select an additional 3 credits of 400-level coursework in ACCTG, BA, ECON, ENTR, FIN, FINSV, HPA, IB, MGMT, MIS, MKTG, RM or SCM.
The capstone experiences are an important way for students integrate program skills, apply the skills and knowledge they have learned in the BSB program, and create employment opportunities. Students graduating from the BSB program have accepted employment at a wide range of small and large organizations in business, not-for-profit, and public organizations. Students who chose to continue their studies have found that the BSB program provided excellent preparation for graduate school.
